Facility and location gets high marks. Clean, things work and walking distance to much of Southport. My criticism is based on POOR communication between staff and me during entry to Marina. They instructed me as to where I was to dock for fueling and I explained that I would enter the Marina and then circle to approach the spot they indicated. Also agreed that my radio would stay in Marina channel so they could alert me if needed. While performing my turn inside the Marina I ran aground!! They said nothing and did not wave me off. Marina staff should know the depths withi. There facility and advise you accordingly
